Sardinia

Sardinia is the second biggest island of the Mediterranean sea and the first for its coastal expansion; it counts like 1.6 million inhabitants and the most important cities are Cagliari (the capital) and Sassari.
Sardinia, is an interesting tourist destination that offers to its visitors an ancient history, lonely landscapes, wild nature and wonderful beaches with crystalline sea. For many aspects, Sardinia, can be considered a destination yet to discover.
In order to get to Sardinia you can choose between ferry or plane; the main airports are Cagliari, Olbia and Alghero. The main ports are Olbia, Porto Torres and Cagliari.
